Logo

The logo is often the first visual experience with the brand. That’s why a logo should be designed to be the most compact expression of the brand identity. The Wielfaert Architecten logo must be legible and maintain the integrity of its form.

Logotype#

Use the full logotype to establish the context of Wielfaert Architecten, or to represent Wielfaert Architecten alongside third-party logos.

Composition#

When using the logotype in a self-contained situation, use a premade logotype from the downloads section.

When using the logotype in a grid-based composition with columns, the gutter between the columns can be used as the space between the two words that make up the logotype. In this case, we recreate the logotype by typing out "wielfaert" and "architecten" in the specified typeface and place it around the gutter. If the gutter is too wide or too small to retain the spirit of the premade logotype, we fall back to the previous method and use the premade logotype.

The logo should be centered in its medium by default. Unlike the contents of a publication, it can never be aligned to the left-hand side margin. If the medium does not allow for centered placement, a different gutter should be selected for the placement of the logo.

Monogram#

Use the monogram in situations where there is not enough space to use the full logotype. Examples are website icons.

Colors#

The logotype and monogram are provided in two colors so that placement feels integrated and cohesive.
